Frances A. Herz

Frances A. Herz, Operations Manager of VINtek, Inc. has more than 30 years experience in business process activities and other projects within the auto finance industry. These activities include title administration, document production / mailing and storage, vendor management, insurance tracking / force placement, call center activities, online services, acquisitions, collections and business process improvement.

Prior to joining VINtek, Fran worked for GMAC (and its subsidiaries). At GMAC, Fran held positions including Business Process Analyst Lead, Sr. Analyst, Acquisitions Analyst, Credit Supervisor, Customer Relations Supervisor, and Credit Representative.

Fran was hand picked to represent GMAC to work on the RouteOne joint venture project. The purpose of the joint venture was to bring four large captive auto finance companies together to develop a best in class solution for credit aggregation systems for dealerships. Based on the success of the project, Fran received nomination for the 2003 and 2004 Chairman’s Honor Award.

She became the center of expertise for GMAC on the insurance tracking process for over 6 million accounts. Fran was persistent in presenting her business case for the Insurance Consolidation project which consolidated 7 separate locations to 1 and resulted in a projected savings of $9 million per year.

She was instrumental in working on the E-Commerce team and contributed ideas, provided business cases and testing for new features to improve the customer’s overall online experience.

Fran is proficient at focusing on cost reduction, cost avoidance, defect elimination and operational results while maintaining a strong desire to deliver world class servicing. She is recognized for her excellent ability to work collaboratively with vendors to provide solutions that meet or exceed the customer’s expectations and needs.
