VINtek receives a “perfect score” on its 2005 Level II SAS70 audit

The SAS70 (an acronym for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants statement on auditing standards), defines the professional standards used by a service auditor to assess the internal controls of a company. The goal of a SAS70 audit is to confirm a company’s control environment, including company invoicing practices, computer operations, physical security, environmental security, application development, maintenance and documentation, information security, data communications and disaster recovery/business continuity planning.

VINtek achieved a “Perfect Score” of 100% on all review items… “No exceptions noted.” This audit was a Level II audit where controls were examined throughout the year 2005 for continued compliance.
