Troy L. Moore
Troy L. Moore, Chief Operating Officer of VINtek, Inc., has more than 17 years of experience managing activities such as paper and electronic title administration, document storage, call center operations, check processing, insurance tracking and collections.
Troy has proven that he is adept at integrating vendor services, developing work flow processes and pricing to create opportunities that drive the achievement of growth, improve quality and deliver on cost reduction objectives. He is recognized as a corporate innovator with strengths in relationship management, financial analysis and start-up ventures.
Prior to joining VINtek, Troy worked for Deloitte Consulting and GMAC (and its subsidiaries). At Deloitte Consulting, Troy managed Deloitte's Outsourcing Advisory Services Consulting Practice where he was responsible for work teams at client locations in designing sourcing strategies, identifying requirements, completing fit and readiness reviews, managing the RFP processes, performing transition planning and support for managing vendor relationships for Fortune 100 clients.
At GMAC, Troy held positions of increased responsibilities, including Account Representative, Department Supervisor and Senior Analyst. In his role as Senior Analyst, Troy was responsible for branch restructuring and vendor relationships. During this time, he developed a business case to consolidate the contracts and titles of over 4 million accounts from 25 separate locations across the U.S. into one facility. He sold the idea to the President of GMAC North America with a projected savings of over $8 million per year.
Troy set up a new division of an existing GMAC subsidiary to handle this operation. He managed all aspects of this plan: identifying real estate, designing the office layout and process flow, selecting filing and document tracking equipment and systems, interviewing and hiring staff, and managing all daily operational activities. Troy opened the 25,000 square foot facility within 6 months from the development of the business case. He had 166 employees (including 13 supervisors) and managed a budget of approximately $6 million.
Troy spent the next year and a half transitioning the 4 million accounts into this facility. The 4 million accounts equated to approximately 28 million documents. While managing this transition, he also managed the daily activity of receiving and releasing documents. This activity equated to about 20,000 individual transactions a day. Troy completed this project on time and within budget.
Based on the success of this project, Troy won the GM Chairman's Honor Award in 2001. When Troy returned to GMAC's Executive Office in 2003 as an Operations Manager, he was responsible for 3 critical business units (Electronic and paper title/contract administration, insurance tracking and corporate compliance).
Troy holds a BSBA and an MBA from the University of Missouri. He was elected to VINtek's Board of Directors in 2009.
